Last terms and in other sections of this course the audiogram was covered in some detail. It is important to at least understand the basic concept behind this graph. The demonstration on the next page relates the SPL plot we have been using to the HL audiogram. Recall that by definition 0 dB HL at each frequency is equal to the average normal threshold in dB SPL.
